As this is the first post for Games Ramble, I thought I'd give a bit of background into what will be covered here at the site. I'll not only be covering video game news, I'll also be doing a few mini game reviews, thoughts, feelings about various games. I have written for the video games industry for some years and have many contacts with regards to news and public relations, so hopefully you'll get a few scoops too. I'll also be covering anything that springs to mind, from extreme retro video gaming goodness to the latest games releases and quirky stuff you might otherwise have missed.

There may also be the odd video gaming rant or random video gaming thought hitting this site, since I have a tendency to go with the flow. I do hope however that you as the reader will find the posts interesting and informative, whatever style they take.
