Geek Grrls games of 2009

Meh, most gaming websites do them, so why the heck not eh? There was plenty of gaming goodness to be had in 2009, but some stood head and shoulders above the rest. Here are my geek grrl picks of last year... and wow what a year 2010 is going to be, so let's look back with a fond eye shall we, before the big names in 2010 start to truly flow.
First up there's Assassin's Creed II, sequel to a good game and one that breaks the rule of sequels sucking. Assassin's Creed II took the first game, ramped it up, added more control, better story and then some. If you missed this sprawling wonder, go get it.
Next up, my game of the year, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves for the Ps3, there are truly no words for the wonder that is this game. Again it bettered the prequel and that in itself was an awesome game. Naughty Dog did a fantastic job, you should own it.
Flower on the PSN saw a move away from what we gamers expect in gaming. Gone was the formulaic manner in which games are developed and we got to see a colorful, thought provoking wonder.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is another sequel and it has to be said a sweet addition to the CoD universe. It launched with controversy due to a particular level, but that aside, it held some great gaming moments for me last year.
Shadow Complex on XBLA was a wonderful old skool foray into the 2.5D genre. A wonderful game marred only by the fact alleged bigot Orson Scott-Card was involved in its development, i mean who wants to line the pockets of a moron.
Dragon Age: Origin took the RPG to the next level with over 60 hours of gameplay. March sees the release of the first expansion. It's also BioWare which immediately made me coo with delight when it was released.
Batman Arkham Asylum, whilst not the most fantastic game overall, brought the dark knight to consoles in a dark and sardonic manner. The only thing missing for me was Batwoman, but maybe she'll appear in the sequel, now that would be awesome.
And that my friends is that! What were your favorites of last year?
